Amazon has some great shoe sales, if you have the patience to comb through hit-or-miss listings and don’t mind buying shoes without trying on first. I got a few of my favorite shoes from there, at discounts of around 80% off their usual 3-figure price tags.
To get there: go to the Shoes department on Amazon. Look to the sidebar at the left, and scroll down till you see options to sort by “50% off or more” or “70% off or more” and click on your choice. I like to check the “Amazon prime” box as well; it ensures Amazon’s free shipping rules apply. From there, you can also search by shoe size, color, and more.
Here are a few random finds from a recent search. I’d totally go for these work-pumps-with-a-twist:

Bandolino Calisa Pump in brown, selected sizes $29.19 (regular $69).
The hit-or-miss sizing can actually be great for gals who wear something other than average. Take these classic black boots, only available in C/D and available in sizes 10, 11, and 12 (as well as a few smaller sizes):

Annie Shoes Tracker Boot in black, now $37.28 (list price $79.95). Annie Shoes also has a navy suede version ($31.98), for an intriguing twist on classic black.
If classic styles bore you, there are plenty of strappy and/or spiky options. I love the way these heels combine staid navy with far-from-staid form (though they don’t come with the leg cast I’d need after a few minutes of trying to walk in them):

Miss Me Adella T-Strap Sandal, $21.82 (63% off the normal price); also in fuchsia, green, and black.
Sadly, I myself am more the serviceable-mom-shoes type. Less depressing if you can get them cheap. And it’s surprisingly hard to find blue flats, plus Naturalizers really are comfortable.
Naturalizer Yates Flat in blue, $27.60 (instead of $69), also available in sage green and gray.
